ABOUT
Founded in 2023, Sensoria emerged from a group of scientists, artists, and technologists determined to build a shared infrastructure for studying consciousness in real‑world contexts. While traditional neuroscience often focuses on disease, Sensoria asks how science can explore the positive potential of the mind clarity, creativity, connection, and transcendence.
Through open collaboration and ethical psychedelic research, we hope to lay the groundwork for a new era of mental health science one that honors both the objective and subjective dimensions of human experience.
Sensoria Research is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit institute advancing the scientific study of consciousness through interdisciplinary research, ethical field experimentation, and global partnership.
We unite neuroscience, psychology, technology, and the arts to understand how human awareness arises and how it can be measured, enhanced, and applied for mental health and human flourishing.
Our mission is simple and urgent: to map the mind so humanity can better understand itself,
heal deeper, and grow together.

ABOUT
Sensoria advances consciousness research and human flourishing through transformative experiences and the proliferation of authentic experience reports
We see a world where the science of consciousness is as advanced and respected as the sciences of matter, energy, and life. By merging rigorous empirical methods with first person experience, Sensoria aims to develop a new discipline that reveals the relationship between biology, mind, and culture. Our research framework bridges
neurophenomenology, psychedelic science, and applied technology to explore
the spectrum of human experience in both laboratory and natural environments.

Applied Consciousness Research:
Sensoria conducts field and lab‑based studies that combine biometric monitoring, machine learning, and phenomenological reporting to map neural and psychological correlates of conscious states. Our projects include regulated and ethically supervised investigations into psychedelics and other state‑altering modalities to better understand emotion, attention, and healing mechanisms.
Global Consortium Collaboration:
Through the Neurophenomenological Consortium, we partner with universities, nonprofits, and private labs in 16 countries to create the first shared Neurophenomenological State Space an open‑source atlas of human experience.
Education & Certification:
Our Consciousness Competency Initiative (C³I) trains and certifies researchers in ethical and methodological standards for exploring altered states and advanced awareness. By 2028 we aim to certify 1,000 Consciousness Researchers worldwide.
Events & Public Engagement:
Sensoria’s immersive research activations bring science to life through art, music, and interactive learning. Each event acts as a living laboratory where participants experience and contribute to real‑time consciousness data collection.
